Budget Airlines are least complained about!

According to Civil Aviation Authority statistics recently released for 2013, budget airlines are least complained about. Airlines such as easyJet and Ryanair attracted the fewest complaints to the UK air regulator last year.

So what do budget airline fliers complain about?

Top of the list in recent years have been flight cancellations, missing baggage and denied boarding. Surprising not the extra charges that are often associated with these type of airlines that seem to apply to everything accept your seat. It seems fliers still prefer a bargain.

So which airlines are most likely to be complained about?

It would appear that the large package holiday airlines are the most likely to be complained about. The level of complaints for the more upmarket airlines fell somewhere in between that of the budget and holiday airlines.

The Civil Aviation Authority received in excess of 200,000 complaints about flights from the UK in total in 2013, a large proportion of these were complaints about delayed flights.

Big thanks for the £304.70 transferred to my bank account today. My claim related to a three-leg flight from Norwich UK to Phoenix USA via Schiphol. The CAA suggested I had a good case but could do nothing because the delay occurred within Dutch jurisdiction. I twice did battle with KLM/Delta myself but they would not budge. Another claims firm tried but threw in the towel. So congratulations to Claim4Flights for taking it on and winning – and for getting the money transferred into my bank account within two days of notification. Very impressed!
